Over the past few months, Ameris Bank has worked to convert the former Montgomery Bank and Trust to Ameris Bank, which concluded on Monday, October 22, 2012. Because of this conversion, you will now access your accounts differently via Internet Banking. Please read below for important reminders. Internet Banking Access
Going forward please visit amerisbank.com to access your accounts online. From this webpage, you may access Internet Banking by using the Online Banking Center found to the left of this screen.
Business Customers must first select the Business tab and then use the login credentials mailed earlier this month via the US Postal Service. To access Personal Internet Banking, users must first go through the new user registration process even if you had online banking with Montgomery Bank and Trust. When asked to provide the last statement balance, please enter a $0 balance.
Online Bill Pay Access
Going forward, to pay your bills online, you must first visit amerisbank.com to enroll in Business or Personal Internet Banking. Once enrolled and logged into Internet Banking, you will then need to re-establish your payees and reschedule payments.
To enroll in and begin using Online Bill Pay, please follow the above directions using the Online Banking Center found to the left of this screen.
Mobile Banking is no longer available; however, you can access your account from any SmartPhone by visiting amerisbank.com and enrolling in and using Internet Banking. Once enrolled in Ameris Bank Internet Banking, you can access your internet banking account from any SmartPhone and you can establish alerts which will send email notification to any preferred email address.
